A journal does not ask for perfect sentences. It asks only that you tell the truth about your day, in whatever words come first.
Writing things down changes them. A worry that circles in your mind becomes a line on a page, and a line on a page is something you can look at, question and answer.
Over time the pages add up. You begin to see patterns, the things that keep lifting you and the things that keep costing you, and those patterns become a map.
Start small. One honest sentence a day is a habit you can keep.
